I have always enjoyed creating art but have not been really focused on being an artist full time until the past few years. I now have a website (www.nancygoldmanart.com) and blog (nancygoldmanart.blogspot.com) to which I upload my paintings as I finish them. I have committed to finishing a painting each week and have posted them on my blog since June 2008. Now, for 2012, I'm planning to paint daily and I hope to post 2-3 finished paintings a week. We'll see how that goes.....

I work in different mediums but consider myself to be a watercolorist. It is the most challenging medium and that makes it fun. I also think that watercolors have a beautiful transparent quality and unique textural effects that can't be achieved with any other medium.

I use only archival paints and other materials in my paintings and framing because I think art should last forever and that artists are responsible to deliver only the highest quality artwork to their clients.
